Invitation to all Countries in the African and the Asian Continents

Subject : Establishment of an intergovernmental organisation by the name of "AfroAsian Higher Education Agency for Development (AHEAD)" for strengthening the cause of tertiary and higher education in the AfroAsian region.

Your Excellency,

You will be pleased to know that the AfroAsian Higher Education Agency for Development (AHEAD) has been proposed to be established with all countries from Asia and Africa as members with a view to strengthening the cause of tertiary and higher education to exchange information as well as appropriate technologies for vocationalising the existing careers by conducting more professional and vocational programmes and job oriented courses for ensuring and producing more number of job givers rather than job seekers for solving the problem of unemployment and for creating eco-friendly and sustainable jobs in the AfroAsian region.

There is no membership fee for joining the AfroAsian Higher Education Agency for Development (AHEAD). The membership form and other details are enclosed herewith for your kind perusal. The same may be filled in and sent to us from the office of the Minister of Education / Science and Technology / HRD of your country as the Minister-in-Charge of these portfolios will be representing your country for participating in the meetings of the AfroAsian Higher Education Agency for Development (AHEAD) to be held from time to time.

The salient features of the AfroAsian Higher Education Agency for Development (AHEAD) is that all member countries will be getting full support, guidance and technology for launching programmes having academic, professional, scientific, social, cultural, economic and positive contents in different areas like human rights, intellectual property rights, ecology, environment, disaster management, sustainable development, peace studies, conflict resolution, ecotourism, geoinformatics, bioinformatics, media management, medicinal plantation, biotechnology, genetic engineering, green business, hospitality management etc. for ensuring optimum development of a sustainable Africa as well as Asia for tackling issues and burning problems including peacelessness, unemployment, poverty, population explosion, and pollution.

The AfroAsian Higher Education Agency for Development (AHEAD) Project is proposed to be launched and inaugurated on the occasion of the International Literacy Day on 8th September 2005 in the presence of the Representatives of the Member Countries from the Africa as well as Asia for designing a masterplan paradigm for the year 2005 - 2010.

We invite Your Excellency for cosponsoring the birth of the AfroAsian Higher Education Agency for Development without any financial commitment for becoming the founder member and for taking lead for a mass movement for ensuring proper tertiary and higher education in your country. The enclosed Membership Form is to be filled in and sent back by 30th June 2005.
